US Sales

Larry Noel manages our U.S. sales and marketing efforts along with help from our inside sales and customer service team.

Pointe Scientific works through a network of national, regional and local dealers to market, sell and support our products across the country and into Canada. Individual callers inquiring about the purchase of our reagent products are usually directed to the closest Pointe dealer in the area, or given a choice of dealers that cover the area.

Dealer sales reps in the field can count on the highest level of support from Pointe personnel wether it's for product information, pricing, shipping information, sales questions or even technical issues.

The Pointe U.S. Sales staff as well as the Pointe Technical Service staff works closely with individual laboratories to provide whatever support is needed including help with instrument applications, quality control issues, etc.

Pointe Scientific uses a number of different marketing tools to promote our products including media press releases, advertisements in scientific publications, product eBlast through the Internet, product brochures and flyers as well as participation in national conventions like AACC and other regional and local meetings. Our sales staff also participates in dealer sales meetings and training classes to share important information on the benefits of using Pointe reagent products.

Cathie Melvin directs our international sales and marketing efforts. Pointe has been selling in the international marketplace since 1981 and today, you will find Pointe products in about every place on earth you can imagine.

Cathie keeps in close contact with all our international dealers providing support for marketing and sales efforts the dealers undertake in their own countries.

Cathie travels to the MEDICA Exhibition in Düsseldorf, Germany every November to meet personally with many Pointe dealers working overseas. She also meets with some of our overseas dealers at the AACC Convention held every July in various parts of the United States. Look for convention information in our tradeshows area.

International Pointe dealers are aided by a variety of marketing efforts aimed at the worldwide laboratory market. Pointe supplies pens, coffee mugs, note pads and annual calendars for dealers to distribute to their clientele.

Pointe also places press releases and advertisements in popular international media to garner leads that are passed on immediately to the nearest international dealer.
