The Pointe 180 II is a second generation analyzer. Improvements include a larger analyzer screen and printer, optional computer keyboard, removable flow cell, built-in vacuum pump and external waste bottle, larger internal memory, 43 stored assays, patient data storage and report printer as well as Levey-Jennings control plots and more.

The Pointe 180 is a small, semi-automated chemistry analyzer. It is easy to use and is virtually maintenance free so it is a perfect fit for the small laboratory. It offers a comprehensive 48 test pre-programmed menu. Special cuvettes are not needed - tests are performed and read in borosilicate glass test tubes.

The Pointe 180 SR Microstrip reader is a compact microprocessor controlled, general purpose photometer system designed to read and calculate the results of endpoint colorimetric assays (including in vitro clinical tests) which are read in microtiter strips. It is designed to accept many single-column microstrips up to 12 wells in length, as well as break-apart wells, whether the wells have flat or round bottoms.
